Nokia officially confirmed its dual-slider device 8208, first seen last summer.This music phone will not come to the United States, but it is one of Nokia devices that operate on the frequencies of CDMA 800 MHz and 1900MHz, and supports EVDO data networks. The phone runs on Symbian S40 in its 2.2-inch screen with resolution of 240 × 320.The device has 150 MB of internal memory and supports up to 16GB of external memory through a memory card slot microSDHC. Supports MP3 and AAC + files, and users have the option of downloading songs. The phone has dedicated external buttons for music, an FM radio tuner and integrated handsfree speaker enables users to have conversations or listen to your music without headphones.
Some markets will have access to services for assisted GPS through 8208. An integrated 3-megapixel camera with flash and 6x digital zoom can also record videos. It offers a dictionary of Chinese-to-English and vice versa, such as Sudoku games and Seasweeper.
The phone comes with a headset, memory card and a microSD 1GB PC sync cable.
Expects to launch the Nokia 8208 CDMA phone in certain markets in late March, but has not announced the price.
