The Sony PRS-700, its ebooks reader with touch screen and front light, features that put it above its competitor, the Amazon Kindle. The PRS-700 has a touchscreen display made with E-Ink, and with a size of 6 ", which allows us to select and enter text notes, either through an onscreen QWERTY keyboard or a stylus.
The internal memory can store around 350 ebooks, but also has a slot for SD memory and Memory Stick Duo, battery and allows us to read on a continuous basis up to 7,500 pages.
The weakness of this toy is the lack of support for wireless connections, something the Kindle does have. In this case the books will go up to the reader via a cable connection to the computer. The device supports Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word documents, BBeB files and other text formats.
United States in its price will be USD $ 400 and be available on the premises from next month.
