Asus P Series integrates technology from Intel theft

Asus has announced that several of its laptops P Series designed for businesses now are equipped with the new Intel anti-theft technology. The system uses an embedded security chip that allows users to remotely send a "poison pill" for the device and disable the entire system. In the event that the laptop can be retrieved, the user can enter a password recovery to restore functionality.
The P-series also features a choice of access that requires the scanning of fingerprints before the system is started. For users with sensitive data, secure a role in AI can safely delete any information.
The P series of portable anti-theft technology is already available, although the company has not yet provided information on prices.
