At a fair in Tokyo this week, Bridgestone showed an electronic paper display in color that has offered support for input via the pen.Composed of electronic QR-LPD powder and granular material Bridgestone with a color filter, and induction-type electromagnetic input Wacom pen, the display has a faster refresh rate, only 0.8 seconds, for input by pen.
Bridgestone has said that improving the speed of the passive matrix has been made possible by improved technology unit. This increased speed allows the screen to follow the data entry done with pen and display graphics and text without problems.
Bridgestone has not revealed its plans for a commercial launch of this screen color electronic paper, or what it would cost.
