
National Geographic has teamed up with Cellular Abroad to offer one of the few phones dual SIM officials United States.
This cellphone, called Duet D888 and beyond produced by E-Tech, is tri-band GSM phone and comes with a SIM card from Cellular Abroad International and has a second slot for a SIM card chosen by the user. This allows users to make and receive calls to and from two numbers, and keep the same team to travel overseas and use a local network to not incur roaming charges.
This mobile silver candybar shaped boasts a 2.8-inch screen with resolution of 240 × 320 and includes a 2 megapixel camera. Offered the role of digital audio playback, an FM radio, Bluetooth and USB. Users can also send text messages and MMS and has a built-in speaker.
National Geographic has also included some of their contents in the Duet D888, such as wallpapers and ringtones. Battery life is estimated at 4 hours of talk time, although the phone comes with 2 batteries. TransFlash card 1GB (roughly equivalent to microSD) acts as the storage medium.
The phone is now available at a price of $ 349.
