LX195 HP MediaSmart Server is now official

HP has officially unveiled a key upgrade for its MediaSmart Server, the LX195.The new version of Windows Home Server is more compact and more efficient that previous models, leaving AMD Sempron and Intel Celeron and opt for a1.6GHz Atom and through the elimination of internal expansion.
A single unit provides 640 GB of storage, with 4 USB ports on the back to allow more space through external disks. He is also the first MediaSmart Server offers support for backups Time Machine over the network in Mac OS X, in addition to backing up Windows Home Server.
Continues to serve as a storage area network and includes hooks for streaming media, from streaming music from iTunes on any platform UPnP sharing between Windows Media Center devices or consoles like the PlayStation 3 andXbox 360.
HP separates LX195 other Windows Home Server through the inclusion of tools to post photos or view photos remotely, as well as antivirus software to protect the MediaSmart Server from an attack.
While pricing and release date have not been announced officially, unofficially it is believed that the LX195 would be ready in May for $ 400.
