IPhone to function as a GPS navigator

It was strange that none of the major manufacturers of navigation software had offered before an application for the iPhone to turn this into a GPS navigator. TomTom for iPhone has been, shown yesterday in WWDC'09, which has opened this market segment expected by many users, but not the only one.
With this application will provide most benefits to which we are accustomed in the browsers of this manufacturer: smart routes, voice guided navigation, points of interest ... addition to the Tele Atlas maps in 2D and in 3D.

Navigon is another manufacturer that has announced the upcoming availability of its solution Mobile Navigator, which offered two options. A free, available mapping and points of interest, but not guided navigation.
The other is the full version and to convert the iPhone into a GPS navigator, with features such as the Wizard of lanes, speed alerts, Reality View Pro, ...running in vertical or portrait mode and integrated with the agenda of contacts, select addresses can be drawn from it.
Like TomTom, Navigon has not indicated that price will have its navigation software.
