The size of the keyboard is 90% of a traditional keyboard.
Touchpad has the multi-touch function that allows the next, zoom and scroll. The Touchpad is of good quality, sensitive, with a good response time, however, is too small for comfortable use.

Netbook battery

L 'Acer Aspire One 531 offers two solutions for the battery. One with a 3-cell battery and one with 6-cell battery. Netbook The object of this review is equipped with 6-cell battery. The autonomy of the battery of this Netbook has proved to be an almost 7 hours.
The test was carried out working with Microsoft Word, setting standards and Netbook Wireless inactive. Activating the wireless battery life of the Netbook was reduced by approximately 2 hours. Be noted that the 6-cell battery comes out of the line of houses.

Display

Obviously the screen of the Netbook is not immune from the effects. One negative note we express it to the viewing angle of the display, not excellent either vertically or horizontally.

Performance and Hardware
The Netbook Acer Aspire One 531 offers good overall performance. Indeed, the Windows XP operating system is quite fast thanks to the Intel Atom N280 CPU 1.66 GHz From a graphics chip Intel GMA 950 provides a good solution.
The hard disk of this Netbook Toshiba MK1652GSX is a 160GB from speed of 5400rpm. Only one slot for a memory module from 1024MB DDR2 Ram. Supports up to 2GB of RAM. The Aspire One 531 weighs 1.2 kg lighter Really!

Noise

The fans are almost always running, but the noise is barely perceptible. Therefore during normal use of the Aspire One 531 Netbook we do not have any discomfort for the noise of the fans. Un po 'piu' is noisy hard disk, but do not see often.

Audio

L '531 Aspire One Netbook is equipped with a discrete sound system. Indeed for a Netbook, the sound is nice and clear. With headphones (good quality) the same.

Final

L 'Acer Aspire One 531 Netbook is a slim design and nice, broken by the fact that the 6-cell battery comes out of the line of houses. This does not intones with the linear style of the Netbook. A 'perfect Netbook for the writer away from a work environment. Indeed the size of the buttons and keypad (corresponding all'90% of a standard keyboard) allow you to type effortlessly.
Finally, a Netbook with a good value for money but that remains in the ranks of its competitors because Acer does not present any substantial news on this model.
