Kingston Launches a USB Flash Memory Record Capacity: 256 GB

Is not exactly cheap (about 650 euros) but if the aim is to provide the highest capacity in a reduced format, the DataTraveler 300 is a suitable companion. This is a USB flash memory manufactured by Kingston 256 gigabytes. With a capacity higher than that of the hard drives of some laptop and weighing a few grams is a good complement to those who have to carry thousands of photos, videos or any other data type "mass" from one place to another.
In its external appearance has been a small button that serves to hide or to show the USB connector. It offers data transfer rates of up to 20 MB per second read and 10MB per second write. It also includes a security software called Password Traveler for Windows and is designed for Windows ReadyBoost system that speeds up the boot and other tasks. It works on computers with Windows and Mac OS X and Linux.
This type of storage units quickly like the SSD or solid state drives - compete (though not yet in speed) with the conventional hard drives. Among other things, thanks to its large capacity can be used for "the computer into a USB pincho," where you install the operating system, applications and all personal data without having to use almost anything to your computer's hard disk, may well be a given. These external drives also use photographs and video enthusiasts can store them in their jobs for long trips with the advantage of being more resilient to shocks that conventional hard disks of similar capacity.
