ExpressCard 2.0 officially

PCMCIA has used the Computex event held in these days to make the official launch of Express 2.0, a storage device designed for use in laptops.
Its manufacturer has ensured that this version has improved rates of successful transfers, reaching speeds 10 times greater than its predecessor, ExpressCard 1.2.
This version will support recent standards such as SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0), and PCI Express. We will have to wait a while for prices to drive, but are expected not entirely economic.
