Microsoft Office Integrated in Nokia Phones

Microsoft and Nokia have reached a historic agreement. The company that Steve Ballmer addressed the integrated Office package in different models of Nokia mobile phones.

Backers of both companies have detailed work will begin "immediately" in designing, developing and promoting solutions that will use Nokia mobile devices based on Symbian OS.
The compromise would allow users of these phones use the Microsoft Office Mobile software, and access to very common on personal computers. The president of the Microsoft Business Division, Stephen Elop said that the agreement "will enable us to Microsoft Office Mobile users of Nokia phones worldwide and provide the management of Office documents from anywhere."
First in eSeries

The executive vice president of Nokia Devices, Kai Oistamo, stressed that the initiative will be of great value to employees of large and small businesses. The intention of both companies is that the programs are available in a wide range of Nokia phone models, but initially only be available in the range eSeries.
Thus, the two historical enemies have temporarily lowered their swords and have decided to give at least a couple of steps together.
Nokia, a leader of mobile telephony sector has seen its profits this year were reduced drastically. Microsoft, meanwhile, still trying to (successfully irregular) for its mobile operating system Windows Mobile. Something that is diametrically opposed to the interests of European manufacturers. Therefore, the two companies have clashed on numerous occasions and are regarded as irreconcilable enemies.
However, following the maxim "the enemy of my enemy is my friend 'both Nokia and Microsoft seem determined to start walking hand in hand. The Redmond giant, beleaguered by Google, whose mobile operating system, Android, harvest success after success, is determined not to eat left the ground in the field of mobile Internet.
Titanic efforts

Google has already shown the damage they can do to put Microsoft on line free versions of word processors and layout of tables and spreadsheets. Not to mention its recent announcement of a new operating system for PCs, preceded by the launch of its own browser, Chrome.
Nokia, on the other hand, requires that its proprietary operating system as open as possible to cope with the terminals iPhone Apple or Blackberry RIM, which threaten his leadership by all sides. The Finnish company takes a few years making titanic efforts to add to its terminals a real web experience, comparable to that offered by the company led by Steve Jobs. So it has been launched to ride in the wake of Apple, its own mobile application store of its own music portal and its own e-mail solution.
