The Mercedes-Benz 2010 Will Have Traffic Information in Real Time SIRIUS

Mercedes-Benz U.S. and SIRIUS XM Radio announced that the role of real-time traffic SIRIUS will be available on all 2010 model Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with navigation and SIRIUS satellite radio.
The system would be installed in 70% of the line Mercedes-Benz 2010 and will be standard on S-Class, CL Class, CLS-Class and G class. The system will come pre-activated with a trial subscription of six months for customers of Mercedes Benz in the U.S. along with a trial subscription of six months of satellite radio package "SIRIUS Everything".
SIRIUS Traffic provides traffic speed and flow information to vehicles through its nationwide network of satellite radio. The system also provides information on traffic incidents, road closures and road construction. As the implementation of traffic is integrated with the vehicle navigation system, the service helps drivers in the selection of faster, more secure to reach a destination, taking into account the real traffic conditions in real time. The system collects information from the departments of transportation, police and emergency services, traffic sensors and cameras and a large number of GPS equipped trucks.
