Canon has finally been officially unveiled the
Canon EOS 550D, maybe the DSLR more rumors of so far this year. Announced in the U.S. with the Canon Rebel T2i name, this new SLR camera comes with a CMOS sensor of APS-C with 18 Megapixels of resolution, with a prominent video section, where we met to begin recording at1080p 30/25 / 24 fps.
Lowering the resolution of the video, the Canon EOS 550D have the luxury of raising the frame rate: 720p @ 60/50 fps or VGA (640 x 480) at 94/60/50 fps. Videos aside, we have a team, of course, with manual controls and RAW format as well as ISO 6400 which can stretch up to 12800, with the need to lower in the latter case the resolution of images.
It presents with dimensions of 128.8 x 97.3 x 62 mm and 530 grams, which of course does not include what the objective is providing some of the images that we showed you, that must be purchased separately. It takes 3-inch screen, optical viewfinder of any DSLR that boasts and can shoot bursts at 3.7 frames per second.
In their connectivity are a couple of interesting points. Starting with Mini HDMI output is already "became almost compulsory even in compact cameras. And according to an audio input 3.5mm stereo microphone ideal. To finish the job, the usual compatibility with SD memory cards and SDHC are now joined the recent (and expensive) SDXC.
It will be available from March, priced at 780 euros. It also will sell for 890 euros together with a goal of 18-55 mm (f3.5-5.6). This is the new SLR "gateways" for Canon.
