Square, make payments from your iPhone with your credit card

Even when it seems we can pay in most businesses with credit or debit card, to come a new concept called Jack Dorsey Square which is in beta and it is a payment system based on the iPhone and a portable card reader.

This system requires an iPhone, the application for the iPhone and a card reader that is inserted into the headphone input, so if two people or a business person and are registered in the system of Square, may make payments from your iPhone, without the need to give your credit or debit card to someone who could conduct a fraud with your card.

All you'd have to do to make the payment, enter the amount and the customer who wish to purchase, swipe the card through the reader and wait for confirmation. Once you have accepted AIDS information, you can check that the card belongs to whom you paid since the owner will receive the image and send payment confirmation by email or SMS.

So even though you make payments or transfers through the Internet portal of your bank, you can make a payment with the iPhone on the street or wherever you are, without the need for anyone who intends to receive the payment terminal has a for a charge on your card.
The program is in pilot phase and is only available in the U.S., but I'm sure will be successful and will soon be available worldwide.
