Microsoft just introduced this innovative image processing technology that gives video conferencing greater brightness and superior color even when in the worst light conditions, either on the street in full sunrise or sunset. They offer high-definition quality 720p and also holders of the other high definition webcam Microsoft LifeCam Cinema also enjoy TrueColor technology through a simple software update.
This technology, which automatically adjusts picture quality to give the video more color, will be available in both high definition webcams: the LifeCam and HD-5000 HD-6000 LifeCam for Notebooks.
"The quality of color and brightness are critical in video conferencing. From our studies, we know that a large number of them are used in low light conditions, which poses a challenge to all webcams and represents a weak point for their users, "said Elizabeth Smith, product manager for Microsoft Hardware. Colors that shine
The new image processing technology analyzes the user's environment and automatically adjusts the webcam frame to give maximum brightness and color to the video. To achieve these results, TrueColorincludes a face recognition technology developed by Microsoft Research, which ensures that it is not overexposed or underexposed. Thus, the image of the video call is perfect even when in the worst light conditions.
HD-5000 LifeCam
With TrueColor technology, the LifeCam HD-5000 offers the best video quality in all possible scenarios and is the only webcam on the market that offers high-definition 720p and automatic approach toa recommended price of 47.90 euros. It has a flexible basis in order to be set on all surfaces, including the top of flat panels, laptops screens or directly on the table. In this way, users can use both in the home office as in your laptop while away.
HD-6000 LifeCam for Notebooks
The HD-6000 LifeCam for Notebooks features TrueColor technology, sensor for high-definition 720p, autofocus and a specific design for laptops. This webcam has a rotation of 360 degrees, allowing users to focus in any direction and share more views.
